The International Atomic Energy Agency reported listening to loud blasts close to Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhya nuclear energy plant on Sunday, coinciding with stories of a drone assault on the plant’s coaching middle, the director common of the company mentioned.

The company has not but been in a position to verify any impression, mentioned Rafael Mariano Grossi.

“The IAEA is aware of reports of an alleged attack by a drone at the ZNPP training center today, just outside of the site’s perimeter,” Grossi mentioned in an announcement.
