Illegal Israeli settlers launched assaults Monday on a number of Palestinian areas within the occupied West Bank, setting hearth to properties, retailers and autos, based on sources.
Loui Tayem, the mayor of Al-Funduq, instructed Anadolu that “dozens of illegal settlers attacked citizens’ homes and vehicles on the outskirts of the village, burning one car and several other vehicles, as well as damaging multiple shops.”
He described the scenario as “tense,” including, “We hear gunfire from time to time, but we cannot identify its source.”
The Palestinian authorities radio station, Voice of Palestine, reported that the settlers carried out widespread assaults on the villages of Al-Funduq and Jinsafut, inflicting in depth harm, together with the burning of properties, autos and industrial properties.
The assaults come amid heightened tensions within the area, with frequent clashes and growing settler violence additional destabilizing the scenario.
