Israel declares part of northern border closed military zone

The Israeli army declared the areas across the communities of Metula, Misgav Am, and Kfar Giladi in northern Israel close to the border with Lebanon as a closed army zone and stated entry to the areas was prohibited.

It stated the choice, introduced as hypothesis has grown of an imminent floor incursion into southern Lebanon, was taken following a situational evaluation.
