The United States has despatched 230 cargo planes and 20 ships loaded with weapons and army gear to Israel for the reason that outbreak of the Gaza battle on Oct. 7, in line with Israeli media on Monday.
The US army help contains artillery shells, armored automobiles and fundamental fight instruments for troopers, Yediot Ahronoth newspaper reported.
Israel’s Defense Ministry estimates the price of the present struggle on the Gaza Strip at round 65 billion shekels ($17 billion).
The newspaper, citing a Defense Ministry official, mentioned the military had used many of the ammunition in its warehouses originally of the struggle.
“But Israel managed to re-fill its warehouses in preparation for a possible large-scale war with the Lebanese Hezbollah group,” it added.
At least 489 Israeli troopers have been killed in clashes with Palestinian fighters within the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, in line with Israeli army figures.
Israel has pounded the Gaza Strip since a cross-border assault by the Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7, killing at the least 20,674 Palestinians, largely ladies and youngsters, and injuring 54,536 others, in line with native well being authorities.
Around 1,200 Israelis are believed to have been killed within the Hamas assault.
The Israeli onslaught has left Gaza in ruins, with half of the coastal territory’s housing broken or destroyed and almost 2 million individuals displaced throughout the densely populated enclave amid shortages of meals and clear water.
