Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a key assembly Friday to hurry up joint initiatives with China, after Chinese President Xi Jinping‘s latest go to introduced billions in new funding agreements.
Bektenov mentioned the offers signed through the Central Asia-China Forum in Astana gave “strong momentum” to financial ties.
In whole, 58 agreements value $24 billion have been signed between Chinese and Kazakh corporations in areas like inexperienced vitality, transport, farming, and business.
“The president has set a goal to attract at least $150 billion in foreign investment by 2029,” Bektenov mentioned. “China is one of our top partners. We will fully support these projects, and I will personally monitor their progress.”
