Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Friday acknowledged that Russia misplaced management of whole districts within the Kursk area, the place preventing towards Ukrainian troops has been ongoing since August 6.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier claimed that over 1,000 sq. kilometers (382 sq. miles) of Russian territory and 100 settlements had fallen underneath Kyiv’s management within the Kursk area.
Moscow has been hesitant to substantiate any territorial losses. However, earlier this month, the Defense Ministry introduced that it had regained management of 10 settlements.
When requested about Poland’s proposal to grant the UN a mandate over Crimea to carry a referendum on the peninsula’s standing, Peskov replied, “It is absurd.”
“The Russian territory and Russian regions cannot be the subject of any discussion or transfer to someone,” he confused.
