The Kremlin on Thursday refused to touch upon media reviews claiming that an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft crash was the results of an assault.
At a press briefing in Moscow, spokesman Dmitry Peskov urged that everybody watch for the tip of an investigation launched by Kazakh authorities with the participation of a particular job power from Azerbaijan.
In a separate assertion, Maulen Ashimbayev, Kazakhstan’s Senate speaker, urged in opposition to drawing untimely conclusions from footage of the aircraft that crashed on Wednesday close to the Caspian metropolis of Aktau, warning that some try to learn from hypothesis.
“These are speculations and unfounded statements. And it’s wrong to spread such statements, it’s unethical, and it’s an indicator that certain people want to earn certain dividends for themselves in this situation,” he remarked.
Large holes on the tail of the aircraft sparked hypothesis that it had been introduced down by an assault.
The holes, seen in footage from the crash web site, appeared to have been attributable to weapons hearth, within the view of some on-line commentators.
An Azerbaijan Airlines flight with 67 individuals on board touring from the Azerbaijan capital Baku to Grozny, Chechnya crashed on Wednesday close to the Kazakh metropolis of Aktau.
In the crash, 38 individuals had been killed and 29 survived, stated Kazakh officers.
Thursday was declared a day of nationwide mourning in Azerbaijan over the crash.
