The present U.S. presidential administration is actively exerting strain on different nations, urging them to grab Russian property, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Thursday.

Commenting on media experiences claiming that the Joe Biden administration supported amendments to laws drafted to make the seizure of the Russian frozen cash authorized, Peskov stated it is among the methods to push for the related adjustments in Europe.

“They (the Joe Biden administration) are mainly trying to put pressure on the Europeans. This is a very paradoxical situation, because the main part of our assets is in Europe, not in America. And, as always, the Americans want to encourage Europeans to take illegal actions,” he instructed Russian state news company RIA.

Peskov warned that European nations will face losses, fines, and authorized penalties in the event that they fall for the White House’s tips.
