At least eight folks have been killed and dozens of others stay lacking after a landslide struck China’s Yunnan province Monday.

Emergency employees braved snowy, freezing temperatures to rescue no less than 47 folks lacking from 18 households, state-owned China Central Television (CCTV) reported.

Eight of the lacking folks have been discovered lifeless on Monday afternoon, in response to Zhaotong Daily, an area state-owned media outlet.
