Moldova mentioned it discovered fragments of a Russian drone close to its border with Ukraine, because the battle between Moscow and Kyiv is about to enter its third yr.
The Moldovan Border Police in an announcement on Sunday mentioned authorities detected fragments of a Shahed drone close to the commune of Etulia, which is near its border with Ukraine.
Indicating there have been no dangers or risks for the communities within the space, the police mentioned all mandatory measures to take care of “order, peace and public safety” had been taken.
The drone fragments had been later picked up by consultants for examination, police mentioned, including that the UAV is suspected to have been downed by anti-aircraft methods throughout a Russian assault in Ukraine’s southwestern Odesa area final week.
