Naim Kassem named new Hezbollah leader after Nasrallah killing

Lebanon’s Hezbollah group has chosen Naim Kassem to exchange its slain chief Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike final month

Kassem, a longtime deputy to Nasrallah, has served because the Iran-backed group’s performing chief since Nasrallah’s loss of life. His appointment to exchange Nasrallah was introduced on Tuesday.
