More than 90% of properties in Gaza have been destroyed and broken, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) stated Wednesday, citing information from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), as Israel’s ongoing struggle on the enclave plunges civilians deeper into humanitarian disaster.

“With nowhere safe to go, families shelter in unsafe ruins,” the company stated on X and urged: “IOM has shelter aid ready—entry points must open NOW.”

Since March 2, Israel has closed Gaza’s crossings, blocking important provides from coming into the enclave regardless of a number of experiences of famine within the war-devastated territory.

The Israeli military resumed its assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering a Jan. 19 ceasefire and prisoner change settlement.
