The Pentagon mentioned on Sunday it was conscious of experiences relating to assaults on an American warship and industrial vessels within the Red Sea, the Associated Press reported.
“We’re aware of reports regarding attacks on the USS Carney and commercial vessels in the Red Sea and will provide information as it becomes available,” the Pentagon was quoted as saying within the report.
The Pentagon didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
Maritime safety sources on Sunday mentioned {that a} bulk service ship had been hit by a minimum of two drones whereas crusing within the Red Sea.
