Deadly assaults by Israel on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon had been protested Saturday in Berlin.
Hundreds gathered at Leopold Square within the Wedding district to assist Palestine and denounce the assaults.
Demonstrators, carrying Palestinian and Lebanese flags, chanted in opposition to the German authorities for supplying weapons to Israel and criticized Israeli actions.
Protesters held banners and indicators with messages, together with, “Freedom for Palestine”, “Stop the genocide in Gaza”, “The ban on boycotts proves their effectiveness”, “One genocide does not justify another”, “Germany, stop arming Netanyahu’s fascist regime” and “Genocide with bombs and war crimes, Israel is killing.”
Some demonstrators carried bread and baggage labeled flour to attract consideration to the starvation confronted by Gaza residents.
Police, who carried out strict safety measures across the space, detained no less than 4 individuals in the course of the protest.
