The leaders of the United States, Australia, India and Japan stated after a summit on Saturday that they had been “seriously concerned” over tensions within the South and East China Seas — whereas avoiding any direct point out of Beijing.
“We are seriously concerned about the situation in the East and South China Seas,” they stated in a declaration after assembly in U.S. President Joe Biden’s hometown.
