Lifting unilateral sanctions would cease migration flows from south to north, notably to the US, stated Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
During a press convention in Caracas, Maduro addressed the migration problem, emphasizing the affect of financial restrictions.
Maduro urged the US administration to rethink its stance to ease the migration disaster.
“If Venezuela overcomes its challenges and is freed from all economic sanctions, not a single migrant will head to the US within a year,” he stated, including: “We welcome all who wish to return voluntarily.”
Despite sanctions, Maduro famous that Venezuela’s economic system has grown for 14 consecutive quarters. He highlighted preparations for sustainable development by 2025, with a deal with productive sectors.
Government information exhibits Venezuela has confronted over 900 international sanctions, primarily from the US, up to now decade.
