Russia has accepted a draft deal on the development of an oil pipeline within the Republic of the Congo.
Moscow’s approval of the draft deal was confirmed by a decree dated Sept. 14, which was printed on Russia’s authorities portal late Monday.
The oil pipeline will join the nation’s port metropolis of Pointe-Noire to the settlement of Makoulou Pichot, about 40 kilometers (29 miles) northeast of the capital Brazzaville.
The pipeline can even go via the city of Loutete, about 155 kilometers (96 miles) west of Brazzaville.
It instructed Russia’s vitality and international ministries to carry talks with the Congolese facet and signal the doc.
The draft settlement stated the Russian firm Zakneftegazstroy-Prometey and Congo’s National Petroleum Company might be answerable for the implementation of the deal.
