Russia launches cargo spacecraft to International Space Station

Russia on Friday launched a Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Progress MS-25 cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS).

The spacecraft will ship over 2.5 tons of various items to the Russian phase of the ISS, together with gas, water, meals, tools, and garments, the Russian Space Corporation (Roscosmos) mentioned in an announcement.

The cargo spacecraft is predicted to dock with the Russian Poisk mini-research module on Sunday at 2:15 p.m. Moscow time (1115GMT).

The spacecraft is bringing to the ISS the trophy of the Games of the Future event, a global competitors combining classical and digital sports activities that shall be held in 2024 within the Russian metropolis of Kazan in 16 hybrid “physical + digital” disciplines, which signifies that athletes’ abilities shall be examined in two unrelated dimensions.

Progress MS-25 may even ship New Year’s presents to the cosmonauts, which have been ready by their kinfolk and mates.
