Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Moscow was summoned Tuesday by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Rahman Mustafayev got here to the ministry constructing on Smolenskaya Square in Moscow, the diplomatic service mentioned in an announcement.
He declined to take any questions from reporters.
The Russian Foreign Ministry introduced earlier that Mustafayev was summoned in reference to final Friday’s detention of Russian journalists in Baku, Azerbaijan’s capital.
On Monday, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry mentioned legislation enforcement companies had carried out an operation within the workplace of the Russian news company Sputnik Azerbaijan.
