Russian drones hit a high-rise residence block, a medical facility and personal properties late on Tuesday in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest metropolis, injuring at the very least 20 folks, some significantly, Mayor Ihor Terekhov mentioned.
“There have been 16 strikes on Kharkiv,” Terekhov wrote on the Telegram messaging app. “A high-rise apartment block was hit as were private homes, a medical facility and civil infrastructure.”
Terekhov mentioned a number of areas of the town centre had been focused — the residence constructing was hit within the Slobidskyi district together with a personal home in Saltivskyi district.
Kharkiv remained uncaptured within the early weeks of the warfare, when Russian forces unsuccessfully tried to advance on the capital Kyiv.
More than three years into the battle, it has been a frequent goal of air assaults, whereas Russian forces concentrated their floor advances on the Donbas area within the east of the nation.
