German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated on Monday the vast majority of international locations within the European Union weren’t delivering ample weapons to Ukraine to assist it battle a Russian invasion, calling upon allies to extend their efforts.
“As significant as the German contribution is, it will not be enough to ensure Ukraine’s security in the long run,” Scholz stated at a joint news convention with Luxembourg’s new Prime Minister Luc Frieden.
“Therefore I call on allies in the European Union to strengthen their efforts regarding Ukraine. The planned weapons deliveries to Ukraine of most EU member states are not enough,” he added.
