Thousands rally accross France to protest Islamophobia

Protests have been held in varied cities throughout France on Sunday, in response to the rising Islamophobia within the nation.

The protests have been sparked by the deadly stabbing of Aboubakar Cisse at Hatice Mosque within the city of La Grand-Combe, Gard area on April 25.

The attacker, recognized as Olivier H., a French citizen of Bosnian origin, stabbed Cisse dozens of instances, and filmed the assault on a cellphone whereas shouting insults towards Islam.
