The complete quantity of support offered by the EU and its member states to Ukraine has reached €118 billion ($131 billion) because the begin of Russia‘s struggle on Ukraine in February 2022, EU Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis mentioned on Tuesday.
The union’s help for Ukraine was mentioned on the General Assembly of the European Parliament, which began the 2024-2029 legislative time period after the elections held on June 6-9.
Ukraine continues to want pressing army help to defend itself, Dombrovskis mentioned in his speech.
Emphasizing that the EU will proceed to help Ukraine militarily and financially, the official warned that this winter “will not be easy” for them as a result of Russia is attacking their vitality sources and infrastructure.
He acknowledged that the whole quantity of support offered to Ukraine by the EU and its member states up to now has reached roughly €118 billion.
Noting that €43.5 billion of that is army support, Dombrovskis mentioned that the EU goals to coach 15,000 extra Ukrainian troopers till the tip of winter.
He additional confused that the variety of Ukrainian troopers educated on its territory will enhance to 75,000 in complete.
