Türkiye rescues 225 irregular migrants in Aegean Sea

The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 225 irregular migrants within the Aegean Sea after Greek authorities pushed them again into Turkish territorial waters, in accordance with an announcement Thursday.

Coast guard models saved 108 irregular migrants from a rubber boat off the districts of Seferihisar, Foca, Dikili and Urla in Izmir, whereas 43 have been rescued off the Kusadasi district in Aydin province, mentioned the Coast Guard.

Teams additionally rescued 46 migrants off the district of Ayvacik in Canakkale province together with 28 off the Kas district of Antalya province.

The migrants have been transported to the provincial migration division.

Türkiye and world rights teams have repeatedly condemned Greece’s unlawful follow of pushing again asylum seekers, saying it violates humanitarian values and worldwide regulation by endangering the lives of weak migrants, together with girls and kids.
