Britain on Monday condemned Russia’s missile and drone assaults on power infrastructure throughout Ukraine, calling the strikes a “flagrant violation of international law.”
“These assaults are in flagrant violation of international law and those responsible must be brought to justice,” Foreign Secretary David Lammy mentioned on X.
Ukraine mentioned earlier that 15 areas have been affected by Russian strikes that focused the nation’s power infrastructure.
Lammy additionally mentioned that he was deeply saddened to be taught of the demise of Reuters’ Ryan Evans, following Saturday’s strikes in Kramatorsk by Russian forces.
Evans, 38, was a former British soldier who offered safety for Reuters journalists. He was amongst these killed within the assault.
The Russian Defense Ministry introduced that it launched an assault within the morning on “critical energy infrastructure facilities that support the operation of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex.”
