Ukraine claims Russian troops in Kharkiv insufficient for breakthrough

Ukraine‘s commander-in-chief claimed on Thursday that Russian troops on the Kharkiv entrance are inadequate for a breakthrough.

“The enemy continues to increase the grouping of troops in the direction of the main strike of Strilecha-Lyptsi and in the Vovchansk area … However, these forces are not enough for a full-scale offensive and breakthrough of our defense,” Oleksandr Syrskyi stated on Facebook.

Syrskyi stated Russia’s actions are difficult by strengthening of Ukraine’s protection, which was bolstered by the creation of a reserve of ammunition, on account of which Russian forces switched to placing Ukrainian positions with artillery hearth and guided bombs.

Russian forces have been trying to breach Ukraine’s defenses within the Kharkiv area since early this month, opening a brand new entrance within the over two-year-long battle that was hitherto concentrated within the nation’s east and south.

Kyiv has lamented a scarcity of air protection techniques in defending the nation from Russian airstrikes, urging worldwide companions to supply them on the earliest.
