The chief of the United Nations‘ company for Palestinian refugees on Saturday condemned the Israeli strike on a college in Gaza, which Palestinian authorities stated left as much as 100 individuals useless.
Philippe Lazzarini, the top of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees within the Near East (UNRWA), stated the incident represented “another day of horror in [Gaza].”
“The unbearable cannot become the norm,” he added.
Lazzarini stated all events to the battle in Gaza “must protect civilians and civilian infrastructure at all times” and chorus from utilizing “schools and other civilian facilities for military or fighting purposes.”
The UNRWA chief added: “It’s time for these horrors unfolding under our watch to end.”
Israel stated the constructing it hit in Gaza City “served as a hideout for Hamas terrorists and commanders.”
