US Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla visited Egypt on Monday to debate safety points.

Kurilla met with Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, within the capital Cairo to debate a spread of points, together with efforts to handle shared safety challenges and fight violent extremist organizations.

He reaffirmed the military-to-military relationship between the 2 nations and mentioned efforts to advance the partnership to make sure a safe and secure future, CENTCOM mentioned in a press release.
