Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy will participate in a gathering of the so-called Ramstein group of countries supplying arms to Ukraine on Friday, German journal Spiegel reported.
Zelenskiy is anticipated to push for extra weapons deliveries, particularly long-range missiles and extra air defences, in the course of the gathering of defence ministers on the sprawling U.S. air base Ramstein in western Germany, Spiegel mentioned on Thursday.
After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the United States gathered like-minded nations at Ramstein, establishing a gaggle of now some 50 nations that meet commonly to match Kyiv’s arms requests with pledges of donors.
