Zelenskyy fires deputy chief of staff as deputy PM steps down

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy relieved his deputy chief of employees, Rostyslav Shurma, of his duties on Tuesday, in response to a decree printed on the presidential web site.

The chairman of parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, introduced the resignation of Olha Stefanishyna, deputy prime minister answerable for European integration. The transfer was a part of a restructuring of the federal government.

Last week, Zelenskyy dismissed the commander of the air power, just a few days after an F-16 fighter jet that Kyiv obtained from its Western allies crashed throughout a Russian strike, killing its pilot.
