Lisa Kudrow has thanked late co-star Matthew Perry for “the best 10 years a person gets to have” whereas filming Friends.

The US actress, who performed Phoebe Buffay within the hit US sitcom, was the final Friends star to pay tribute to Perry following David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc who all praised him for his “laughter and creativity”.

Kudrow additionally thanked Perry, who died on October 28 on the age of 54, for trusting her, and “for all I learned about grace and love through knowing you”.

She added: “Thank you for the time I got to have with you, Matthew.”

Her solo assertion marked the final of the Friends stars to honour Perry, following on from Schwimmer and Aniston’s statements on Wednesday.

She continued: “He was such a part of our DNA. We were always the six of us.”

“This was a chosen family that forever changed the course of who we were and what our path was going to be.”

“For Matty, he knew he loved to make people laugh. As he said himself, if he didn’t hear the ‘laugh’ he thought he was going to die.”

“His life literally depended on it. And boy did he succeed in doing just that. He made all of us laugh. And laugh hard.”
