Otokar, a Turkish protection trade armored land car producer, has achieved export success in Estonia with the ARMA 6×6 armored personnel provider, leaving its European opponents behind.

Otokar on Wednesday signed a contract in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, for 4X4 and 6X6 autos with the Estonian Center for Defense Investments (ECDI).

The settlement is price round €130 million ($137 million).

Under the contract, which incorporates upkeep, gear, and coaching companies together with the autos, deliveries are deliberate between 2024 and 2025.

Sedef Vehbi, deputy CEO of Otokar Military Vehicles, informed Anadolu that with the contract in Estonia, they elevated their market variety.

Saying that with the ARMA 6X6, they’ve change into the provider of an essential European nation, Vehbi stated that they’ve been engaged on the mission since 2020.

Vehbi stated: “The country had a professional approach. There was a fair competition environment. We came to the forefront with both our technical features and commercial conditions, and most importantly, we were ahead of our European competitors.”

Stressing that one of many greatest causes for the success they’ve achieved with the ARMA 6X6 is its success within the discipline, Vehbi stated that the ARMA 6X6 has already been chosen by 5 militaries so as to add to their inventories.

The ARMA 6×6 presents superior mobility, excessive mine and ballistic safety, in addition to the combination of medium and excessive caliber weapon techniques, based on Otokar.
