The United States slapped sanctions on 12 folks in management roles at AO Kaspersky Labs on Friday, citing cybersecurity dangers a day after the Biden administration introduced plans to bar the sale of the Russian firm’s antivirus software program.
The Treasury Department didn’t designate Kaspersky Lab, its dad or mum or subsidiary firms or its Chief Executive, Eugene Kaspersky. The sanctions focused firm management together with the chief business growth officer, chief working officer, authorized officer, company communications chief and others.
