In a sweeping operation spanning 21 provinces throughout Türkiye, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya on Monday introduced that legislation enforcement companies had apprehended 148 drug traffickers. During the operation, important portions of narcotics had been seized as proof of the traffickers’ illicit actions. Among the confiscated contraband had been 300 kilograms (660 kilos) of methamphetamine, 126 kilograms of skunk, 10,500 narcotic drugs, and 900 kilograms of marijuana and methamphetamine, together with 11.5 kilograms of Bonzai, and a considerable cache of assorted different medicine present in all of the 21 provinces.

Yerlikaya congratulated the gendarmerie and police who carried out the operations and mentioned, “We will never allow drug dealers to poison our youth and society.”
