The crew of a ship, which broke into two and was washed ashore throughout a storm in Zonguldak‘s Karadeniz Ereğli district, has been efficiently evacuated.
The Panama-flagged dry cargo ship, initially anchored in Ereğli Port, suffered structural injury and cut up in two as a result of highly effective storm within the area. The part of the vessel that was washed ashore collided with the concrete partitions of the port, inflicting injury to the close by amphitheater.
In response to the incident, Coast Guard personnel and firefighting groups have been promptly dispatched to the scene. The 13 international nationals aboard the ship have been efficiently evacuated and relocated to Ereğli Teachers’ Lodge.
