A Turkish cargo ship with 12 crew members on board went lacking off the nation’s Black Sea coast amid a storm on Sunday and authorities have been unable to make contact with them since, native authorities stated.
The captain of the Turkish flagged Kafkametler had reported through the morning that the ship was drifting in direction of a breakwater off Ereğli, in northwest Türkiye’s Zonguldak province, the provincial governor’s workplace stated.
The area was hit by highly effective storms on Sunday and the assertion stated the antagonistic climate prevented air and sea vessels from finishing up searches.
Search and rescue groups had been deployed within the area and had been able to launch operations when the climate permitted, the governor’s workplace stated.
