Türkiye rescued 15 irregular migrants within the Aegean Sea after Greek authorities pushed them again into Turkish territorial waters, the Turkish Coast Guard mentioned Friday.
The migrants have been rescued from a rubber boat off Cesme district in Izmir, mentioned the Coast Guard Command.
They have been taken to the provincial migration administration directorates.
Türkiye and international rights teams have repeatedly condemned Greece’s unlawful observe of pushing again asylum seekers, saying it violates humanitarian values and worldwide legislation by endangering the lives of weak migrants, together with girls and youngsters.
