Turkiye’s Antalya to host 3-day forum on climate change, migration

Türkiye’s Mediterranean metropolis of Antalya gears as much as host the Antalya International Science Forum (ANISF) on “Climate Change, Environmental Crisis and Migration,” set to happen between Nov. 29 and Dec. 1.

Esen emphasised that ANISF-2023 goals to debate present points which have occupied the entire world’s public opinion lately, associated to local weather change, environmental modifications and migration processes in a global and interdisciplinary atmosphere.

“ANISF-2023 will feature scientific studies on various topics related to climate change, such as the potential consequences of climate change, including: ‘Climate Change and Environmental Disasters,’ ‘Biodiversity and its Impact on Ecosystems,’ ‘Economic Impacts, Social Justice and Vulnerable Communities,’ ‘Climate-Resilient Social Structures and Systems,’ and ‘Climate-Resilient Cities,'” he defined.

Lokman Atasoy, the chairperson of the Environmental Board of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, who participated within the assembly, mentioned the discussion board goals to convey collectively science, the general public, the non-public sector and civil society organizations usually on a global and interdisciplinary platform with altering matters yearly.

“Within the scope of ANISF-2023, 55 papers will be presented, and valuable expert speakers will be hosted in the three-day sessions planned in Antalya. I find it very valuable that Antalya is hosting a scientific forum on such a topic for the first time. I believe we will obtain very significant outputs on environmental issues and solutions at the end of the program,” he added.
