28 premature Gazan babies transferred to Egyptian hospital

At least 28 untimely Palestinian infants had been transferred to Egypt via war-hit Gaza’s Rafah crossing late Monday.

Gazan Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar introduced that “28 premature infants arrived today at the Rafah land port” in a press release posted on Facebook.

He famous that “the infants are currently being transferred to hospitals equipped with medical teams and state-of-the-art facilities to provide the necessary medical services for them,” with out offering additional particulars.

On Sunday, the Palestine Red Crescent Society introduced that its groups evacuated 31 untimely infants from Al-Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza to the Emirati Hospital in Rafah after being besieged by the Israeli military, forcing these current to evacuate.

Earlier on Monday, the pinnacle of the neonatal intensive care unit on the Emirati Hospital, Mohamed Salama, informed Anadolu that “today, 28 premature infants out of the 31 who arrived at the hospital yesterday from Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza left to continue their treatment in Egypt.”

He mentioned that three infants remained within the hospital, with two of them staying on the request of their households for the soundness of their well being.
