Erdoğan’s efforts secure release of 12 Thai hostages from Gaza

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan performed an energetic function in securing the discharge of 12 Thai hostage held by Hamas in Gaza, the sources within the Palestinian group and in Ankara has stated.

The Palestinian resistance group on Saturday stated they had been finishing the discharge of the Thai hostages from Gaza following efforts from President Erdoğan, in accordance with an announcement.

“In response to the efforts of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has completed the release of Thai detainees inside the Gaza Strip,” the assertion stated.

Separately sources in Ankara stated, the 12 Thai nationals held hostage by Hamas in Gaza had been launched by means of the efforts of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), upon the instruction of President Erdoğan.

Earlier final week, President Tayyip Erdoğan stated the pinnacle of MIT head İbrahim Kalın and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan are working with Qatar on the discharge of hostages held by Hamas.

Speaking at a joint news convention with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Erdoğan stated: “Türkiye hopes to achieve positive results on hostage exchange as soon as possible.”
