The Palestinian loss of life toll in Gaza from indiscriminate Israeli assaults has climbed to 4,137, based on the besieged enclave’s Health Ministry Friday.
The variety of injured has risen to 13,300, ministry spokesman Ashraf Qudra advised a news convention, including that over 1,000 others have been lacking.
At least 16 Palestinian Christians have been amongst these killed in direct Israeli airstrikes on a Greek Orthodox church Thursday night in Gaza metropolis.
“Seven hospitals in the Gaza strip are completely out of service due to Israeli attacks,” stated Qudra.
The Israeli military later Friday acknowledged bombing Gaza’s Church of St. Porphyrius, one of many oldest church buildings within the area.
“Fighter aircraft targeted the headquarters of a military member of the Hamas (Palestinian) organization, involved in firing rockets and mortar shells towards the territory of the State of Israel,” the Israeli military’s press workplace advised Anadolu Agency (AA).

The brutal Israeli air assault on Gaza started on two weeks in the past in response to the Oct. 7 shock incursion by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. Israeli casualties have been reported to be round 1,400.
