Israel carries out airstrikes, shelling in southern Lebanon

Israel hit some areas in southern Lebanon in artillery shelling and airstrikes on Monday, amid ongoing warfare with the Palestinian resistance group Hamas.

An Israeli military spokesperson confirmed airstrikes by military helicopters in Lebanon, Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.

The official Lebanese news company stated Israeli artillery shelling expanded to the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab city within the nation’s south. A Lebanese safety supply in southern Lebanon stated that round 45 Israeli shells fell on the outskirts of the village of Dhayra within the Tyre area.
