The Kremlin on Thursday accused Europe of “militarizing” itself a lot that it has become a “war party.”
“Europe has so far gone into militarizing itself and has rather turned into a war party,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov instructed reporters in Moscow.
Expressing that Russia hears many indicators coming from Europe daily, Peskov argued that indicators from Brussels and different European capitals primarily concern plans to militarize the bloc.
He stated that that is “clearly at odds with the attitude of the presidents of Russia and the US to seek ways to enter into a peaceful settlement process.”
Moscow has not acquired any indicators from Brussels about its readiness to start the negotiation course of, Peskov additional stated.
Commenting on the upcoming assembly between technical teams from Russia and the US, the spokesman stated the talks will probably be held within the “very next few days,” and also will embody talks on Ukraine and the doable revival of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
“The presidents also spoke about renewing the Black Sea initiative (during their talks on Sunday). There are also many nuances there that need to be discussed,” he stated, noting that the upcoming talks will embody discussions on these nuances.
He added that Russia will identify its representatives who will participate within the talks in due time.
