Israel’s actions within the Gaza Strip have certainly generated controversy and condemnation, with numerous people and organizations expressing their opinions and taking motion.
Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg has publicly proven her help for Palestine and Gaza, advocating for an instantaneous ceasefire and justice for Palestinians affected by the battle.
Thunberg has just lately initiated a strike in help of Palestine. Thunberg took to social media to make her announcement: “Today, we are striking in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza (Gaza Strip). The world must unite in raising its voice, demanding an immediate ceasefire, justice, and freedom for the Palestinian people and all affected civilians.”
In response, an Israeli military spokesman, Arye Sharuz Shalicar, criticized Thunberg and expressed his views about her stance on the battle. There is a big distinction in perspective, with some in Israel decoding her help for Gaza as aligning with the Palestinian resistance motion Hamas.
Furthermore, it has been reported that the Israeli Ministry of Education has determined to take away Greta Thunberg from all textbooks in Israel because of her help for Palestine.
