Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will go to Brussels on Nov. 28-29 to attend a NATO assembly, the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated on Monday.
Over the subsequent two days, NATO overseas ministers will collect on the NATO headquarters to debate the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, in addition to rising strategic competitors.
“As the war in Ukraine continues and the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza unfolds, the meeting will allow for a comprehensive assessment of the security situation in the Euro-Atlantic, as well as the developments in the Balkans,” the ministry stated in a press release.
“The first session of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of foreign ministers will also be held during the meeting,” it stated.
Fidan can be anticipated to carry bilateral talks together with his counterparts on the sidelines of the assembly.
