The United States canceled a strategic assembly with Israel scheduled for Thursday over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s criticism of the Joe Biden administration.
“It’s inconceivable that previously few months, the administration has been withholding weapons and ammunitions to Israel,” Netanyahu said in a video posted on X Tuesday.
“The assembly was set to happen in Washington on Thursday and was set to focus totally on the progress of Iran’s nuclear program,” the Haaretz reported.
“Instead of the delegation that was purported to journey to Washington, led by Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, there’ll solely be a gathering between National Security Council head Tzachi Hanegbi and U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan,” the each day reported, citing a senior Israeli official.
