Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces have been sustaining enough strain on Russian troops in Russia’s Kursk area, the place Kyiv launched a mass incursion in August.
“Fighting is now going on in Kursk region for a third month and we are maintaining the necessary pressure on Russia in this sector,” Zelensky mentioned in his nightly video tackle after a gathering with senior commanders.
Ukrainian forces seized dozens of villages within the Kursk area, on Russia’s border with Ukraine, although Moscow says among the territory has since been recaptured. Russian troops, within the meantime, are advancing in areas in Donetsk area to the south, the principle point of interest of Moscow’s Ukraine marketing campaign.
