The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 76 irregular migrants within the Aegean Sea after Greek authorities pushed them again into Türkiye’s territorial waters, based on a press release Wednesday.
Coast guard models saved 33 irregular migrants from a rubber boat off the districts of Seferihisar and Cesme in Izmir province, whereas 43 have been rescued off the Kusadasi and Didim districts in Aydin province, stated the Coast Guard.
The migrants have been transported to the provincial migration departments.
Türkiye and world rights teams have repeatedly condemned Greece’s unlawful follow of pushing again asylum seekers, saying it violates humanitarian values and worldwide regulation by endangering the lives of weak migrants, together with girls and kids.
